San Juan de Dios Hospital
447 Years of Enduring Love.
Hope for the Future. Because of You.

For over four centuries, San Juan de Dios Hospital has stood as a sanctuary of mercy—rising from adversity to offer compassionate, dignified care to the afflicted and the poor. Founded in 1578, it is one of the oldest hospitals in the Philippines, and one of the few whose mission has remained steadfast: to serve those most in need, regardless of status, origin, or circumstance.

In a nation where access to quality healthcare remains a challenge—especially for the vulnerable—we strive to bridge the gap. Every patient we serve is treated with supreme dignity, because we believe that healing is not just clinical—it is human, spiritual, and sacred.

Our legacy is one of resilience. Through wars, fires, earthquakes, and economic hardship, San Juan de Dios Hospital has endured. Not because of wealth or power, but because of love—love that heals, serves, and uplifts. In a healthcare landscape often divided by privilege, we remain a sanctuary of holistic healing: caring for the mind, body, and spirit.

We are more than a hospital. We are a community of caregivers and advocates—placing patients at the heart of our mission. Every life we touch is a testament to mercy in action.

Why Give?
• To sustain a legacy of charity care for the sick, the poor, and the forgotten.
• To ensure no one is denied essential care, regardless of their means.
• To build the Miracle Building, a space where healing continues with dignity and innovation.
• To be part of a story that has endured for 447 years—and continues because of you.

Your generosity fuels our mission. It keeps the doors open for those who have nowhere else to turn. It ensures that mercy lives on—not just in memory, but in every patient healed, every act of love.

Together, we are building the miracle. One life at a time.
